Embracing Change

Every day in this world we live in change happens in so many complex ways.  People change, the weather changes, the length of day changes, situations changes, lives changes and so on…….

Well accepting change is not an easy task for anyone regardless of the kind of change. Decisions need to be made at times in order for a change to take place
and sometimes the change is good and sometimes it’s not.  There are often pros and cons to what the outcome of change will be and it is always better to focus on the positive.

In all change though, something good should result, be it the weather, when the sun is finally shining or a new law is put into effect to make the world around us a safer place. No matter what I have in my life there is always someone somewhere that has it more difficult and is fighting for change in the world around them.  Change can happen if you want it to and you set your mind to it.  We have the ability to change anything we want even for others.

For me 6 years ago my life changed drastically in many ways – financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and in more ways than I am probably even aware of. The first step for me in order to embrace the change was to accept my new life and see it in a positive light – all of it the good and bad. It was a long, difficult struggle but I eventually overcame the challenges, poor decisions I made, a new home and town, and most of all being in a place where I was on my own.

Today, my life is grand and every challenge I faced was put before me for a reason. I am a more humble, honest, happy, spiritual, kind person today and all because I had a turn learn all over again what life is really about and what is really
important.  I have no regrets because I learned a lot from my changes but am grateful I made them because today my daughters and I are the BEST we have ever been.

I have learned to live a more frugal life style and appreciate the small stuff, recognize the importance of friends and family, am grateful for our health and just to simply be happy with the life I have chosen and been granted. I love my life and it means so much to me since I have embraced it.

Love,
Trudie
