The History of Our Company
Once upon a time...
Previously, we were a company that dealt directly with emotional intelligence and spiritual awareness. Then, we got a call from an organization that was experiencing many different kinds of difficulties asking us if we could help. We decided to take up the task. They were in complete disarray, inundated with gossip and meanness from their employees, including upper management. Then, suddenly two of the owners took ill, one with serious cancer. All these problems of course led them into financial difficulties. The cancer really got our attention, so we decided to take a quantum leap and try something that no one had done before. We joked and called it “love in the boardroom” because our focus became mainly on the heart rather than the head. We had them drop the professional attitude and put our intention on the personal.
We changed the atmosphere. We removed the overhead lighting, replacing it with lamps. We added wonderful pictures, water fountains, angels and anything that we felt would bring happiness into our space. We created weekly programs and a workshop, not only about the business but about their emotional lives as well. We put in a reading room and filled it with wonderful books that promote wellness for mind, body, spirit and emotions.
The growth of the business and the people has been nothing short of a miracle. The joy from the staff spreads out to their families, customers, suppliers, legal firms or anyone else they meet. We noticed that this happiness had such a positive effective concerning health issues, not only for the staff but for ourselves as well. As an added wonderful bonus, it certainly changed the financial bottom line substantially. It seems the more they thought about happiness and love, and the less they thought about “making the deal”, the more financially successful the company became.
As a result of this incredible success, we decided to share the good fortune that was created from the programs and workshop with others. We knew that through the suffering and difficulties, we had co-created something that worked magnificently. Our programs transformed hopelessness into hopefulness. Therefore, we had a certainty that they could have a profound effect on others.
We are all part of the collective consciousness, which creates the much larger picture. People do not care how much we know until they know how much we care. The formula to wealth and health is happiness, and happiness comes from caring and goodness. Today we are happy to say that our library of programs have grown substaintially. As problems and challenges arise, we dedicate ourselves to constantly create new solutions. Whether it be a workshop, a program or a tool, all are based on truth, integrity, love and goodness.

We are a company that works globally, providing programs, books and tools that help people discover a more joyful and happier way of living, whether at work, school or at home. We firmly believe that our happiness is connected to our goodness and that humans are born with this innate goodness. Every small step we take individually towards a better life is a large movement for all of mankind.
The Mission of Our Company
The agenda of Harnessing Happiness is assisting people to become self-empowered and live their full potential. The key to this empowerment and potential is goodness. Therefore our focus is to help people manifest the good in themselves and everyone surrounding them. From this goodness happiness always springs.
We have, as a society, emotionally branded ourselves with shame. There is the angry man, the depressed woman, the abusive person, the out of control child, the dead beat parent all these being interchangeable with each other. Empowerment begins with self-respect, enabling us to give more respect to others, whether that be a person, an animal, or the planet. In turn, we will begin to witness the birthing of a world filled with wonder.
When our ego controls our lives, we are slaves - when our goodness controls our lives, we are leaders. The more we develop skills of solving problems through heartfelt goodness, the more we discover the miracle of our full potential. The more we discover the miracle of our potential and power, the more we discover the art of true happiness.

The Philanthropy of Harnessing Happiness
The ACE Program
Harnessing Happinessis dedicated to making a difference in the world by trying to balance the scales of injustice. We have created a program called ACE - Animals - Children - Elders, as a way to protect the innocents. A percentage of the proceeds from the sales of our programs, books and tools are donated to these three entities. When you purchase something, you can email us at info@harnessinghappiness.com, letting us know which category you would like your money to be applied to.
Animals
Harnessing Happinesshelps 10 different animal sanctuaries, saving domesticated and wild animals in America and Africa.
Children
Harnessing Happiness has two non-profits,
Onionhead and Save the Rain.
Onionhead helps children in the developed world to
peel it - feel it - heal it.
Save the Rain helps children is the developing world to
save a rain drop - save a life.
Elders
Harnessing Happiness helps Meals on Wheels, elder care centers and assists in programs for passing the torch.
